Julie BohémierOwner, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Julie was brought up in an entrepreneurial family that nurtured her love of business, where her father mentored her in planning, strategy, negotiation, and more. An unwavering passion for one’s undertakings was shared between father and daughter, and it would be these qualities that urged and empowered Julie to open Fusion Health Spa.
Julie has a passion for massage therapy and is known for putting her patients’ wellbeing above all else. A graduate of Saint Mary's University (BA Psychology & Business), Julie went on to complete her massage therapy diploma at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, in Toronto. With a zest for knowledge and with 12 years’ experience as an RMT, she continually completes additional training to support the wellbeing of her patients. She is well versed in deep tissue and relaxation massage and has certificates in Pregnancy and Infant Massage (including High Risk Pregnancy), Doula Training, Sports Massage, Soft Tissue Release (STR) and Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT). When not with patients in her treatment room, she can be found with her family and her chickens; or exploring our beautiful province on her motorcycle. Julie treats patients on weekdays and provides ongoing support to the team and our wonderful community of patients! Julie is a member of good standing of the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia. |
